Landscape Installer
Location: Prairieville
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Landscape Installer to join our team. The Landscape Installer will be responsible for implementing landscape construction and installation projects according to design plans, including planting, hardscaping, and irrigation work. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute landscape installation projects from start to finish, including soil preparation, planting, sod installation, mulch application, and other horticultural tasks.
- Construct hardscape elements such as patios, retaining walls, walkways, and edging using stone, brick, or pavers.
- Install and repair irrigation systems as needed.
- Safely operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery such as skid steers, trenchers, compactors, and hand tools.
- Follow landscape designs and blueprints to ensure accurate and aesthetically pleasing results.
- Load, unload, and transport plants, tools, and materials to and from job sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on all job sites.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients as needed.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
- Prior experience in landscape installation or construction is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of horticultural practices and landscape materials.
- Proficient in the safe use of hand tools and power equipment.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs, bending, kneeling, and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required (CDL is a plus).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Working Conditions
- Outdoor work environment; exposed to varying weather conditions.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- May require occasional overtime or weekend hours depending on project deadlines.
